About Our Opportunity

Partner with business and technical stakeholders to design and implement Azure cloud services solutions. Act as a resource for internal teams by providing solutions with best practices that promote usability, flexibility, maintainability and security.

How You Will Spend Your Time

•    Provide thought leadership on Azure technologies by identifying and advocating for Azure solutions to solve business problems
•    Lead technical design sessions of Azure solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders for a hybrid environment
•    Lead technical governance of the Azure platform
•    Promote and help define standards and guidance that fosters consistent and best-fit use of Azure
•    Participate in proof-of-concept and technology evaluations, vet possibilities and make recommendations
•    Collaborate with implementation teams on technical delivery of solutions involving Azure services including code development activities as needed
•    Provide guidance on best practices, functional and technical solution architecture & design, environment management, testing and Azure education
•    Stay informed of Azure feature roadmaps and cloud trends in order to anticipate potential impact to the enterprise and continuous improvement opportunities
•    Represent and communicate the mission and values of Farm Credit Mid-America and complies with its conduct policy, security policy and confidentiality expectations. 

Minimum Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology Infrastructure, Networking, Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines. Typical incumbent would have some experience in designing, developing and supporting Azure solutions.
